My mission is simple. It is to: Help successful leaders achieve positive, lasting change in their behavior. Peter Drucker instilled this short phrase in me, “Your mission should fit on a t-shirt,” as he did with so many others, and it has guided my career for many decades. It has helped me focus and become pretty good at what I do, which I can describe in two words: behavioral coaching.

Hi Marshall. I love your short, easy-to-read emails - very impactful! As recent as this week, I started to develop my life's mission statement - here is where I landed to so far: To hear "Well done, thou good and faithful servant!" To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with my God.
Marshall, I always look forward to reading your blogs. As you know, my executive coaching is just a portion of my HR practice. Even though not a mission statement, my approach is (learned from you), practical, useable, noticeable, simple and focused. Common sense and stakeholder feed forward is key.
My mission statement, with the donation of my kidney yesterday to help three recipients, is “Live a Great Story!”
