I love this approach, and I agree with each of these five "Must Have's." I also wonder if the respondents are thinking big/broadly enough. We all tend to look at the future through the lens of what is both working and missing from what we are experiencing today.
I am reminded that in 1876 the CEO of Western Union said, "This telephone has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication."
This tendency leads me to add "change ready and future seeking" to the Must Have list for successful CEOs.
